Our client is the pioneer and market leader in online advertising verification. They increase online advertising accountability and transparency by providing agencies, marketers, publishers and ad networks with real-time audit, verification and prevention capabilities.
Market Opportunity
The Company currently verifies 35 billion impressions per month and its client list includes over 100 Fortune 500 marketers and ad networks. They have been chosen as a preferred verification provider for major holding companies including Publicis, GroupM, InterPublic Group and Havas and has partnered with ten of the top 15 ad networks. They have closed two rounds of financing to date with a total funding of approximately $14 million from top tier venture capital firms.
Position Opportunity
The SVP of Ad Network and Publisher Sales position is based in the NYC headquarters, reports directly to the CEO and is a key member of the management team. The SVP of Ad Network and Publisher Sales is responsible for leading and managing all of Company’s sales efforts and relationships with Ad Networks and Publishers in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Company’s sales efforts with ad networks
- Create and maintain relationships with key ad networks and key stakeholders
- Evangelize Company with publishers, build relationships with key publishers and stakeholders and build Company’s publisher strategy
- Help shape Company’s ad network and publisher product suite, sales strategy and pricing
- Hire and train top sales talent
Qualifications
- Motivated, self-starting sales leader
- Strong rolodex and track record selling to ad networks and publishers
- At least 10 years of sales experience and 5 years of sales management experience
- Proven track record of success
- Proven experience selling technology or data product in the online advertising industry
- Proven experience in managing complex sales situations
- Experience working in startup environments
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
COMPENSATION
Competitive Base plus commissions plus equity
