In doing so the company has filed a longstanding void in the financial markets publishing and conference space.
Opportunity:
Their integrated advertising, sponsorship, and custom publishing programs provide the ability to build deep and lasting relationships with the key decision makers you need to reach. Advertisers can build brand and reputation, and increase market share with an integrated campaign across the entire platform- print, online and events.
Due to growth they are seeking a Head of Advertising Sales to sell advertising and sponsorships (both endemic and non-endemic) across their print bi- monthly magazine, daily online email reports, and regular networking conference events.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Forecasting, tracking and reporting sales performance
- Collaborating with management on developing and enhancing sales products and strategies
- Selling their media and features (sponsorships, rich-media, roadblocks, banners, full-page ads, and other integrated sponsorships)
- Acting as the single point of contact and relationship manager with top-tier branded advertising agencies and clients
- Authoring, presenting, and driving large content integrations
- Evangelizing and prospecting into top tier online advertisers
- Consulting with customers on their marketing needs and providing creative solutions
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in online advertising sales, with integrated sales- both print and online- in Financial Category
- Energy, enthusiasm and a passion for closing business
- Relationships with top tier brand advertising clients
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- Familiarity with online research tools and sources (Nielsen, ComScore, etc.)
